Properies worth millions of naira have been destroyed in a furnace that razed a popular club in Osogbo, Club Medusah located along Ajegunle Road, Igbonna in the State capital of Osun state.
Amiloaded gathered from an eyewitness that the fire could be as a result of a high voltage released on Wednesday morning by the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC.
It took the intervention of Nigeria Fire service and sympatizers to put out the inferno.
Meanwhile, there was pandemonium in the area after the fire broke as residents were struggling to rescue club staff and attendants who might have been trapped in the furnace.
As at the time of filing this report, no life was lost in the fire outbreak.
