A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Alhaji Fatai Diekola and five others were arrested this afternoon in Osogbo, Osun State Capital for an alleged public disturbance.
Amiloaded gathered that Diekola, Folorunso Babalola and Bayo Daud were jointly arrested and charged to court immediately which is uncommon in the Nigeria Judicial system.
However, Osun Magistrate Court 3 where he and others were charged rejected Case and called for reassignment.
Diekola’s arrest is coming barely two days after his party, APC lost in the just concluded by-election in Osun West Senatorial District.
