I am one person who believe in reality and solutions, rather than sentiments. Dear ladies, rather than run to come and show us your bloody face on social media anytime beaten by a man, why not try your best, I mean your very best to control your mouth to avoid such troubles? I think it would help!
Sadly, just few days after a lady claimed her boyfriend, a TVC report beat her up, another beautiful lady, Tinsel actress Joju Muse [aka April], took to her Facebook page to reveal photos of how she was battered, beaten mercilessly by her own younger brother. Sharing the sad story, she wrote:
“I regret this day the 22nd of May 2016. I was brutally assaulted by someone I least expect. I cry out against domestic violence, and I will always do. But how does one handle this? When the culprit is my own blood?
“Today I cut the tie between us, with no regrets! I didnt throw the first punch! But u beat me to a pulp. I suffered a seizure and am to do head nd chest xray all thanks to u. Am not ashamed of this pic, am only ashamed of d monster you’ve turned out to be.
“You [my brother] were brought up in d way of God. In a good home! I wonder how u turned into an end time beast. I forgive u. But u will never be part of me for this.
“Some people will say it’s not a social media tin. But domestic violence happens in all forms. Say NO to assault on women! Let’s join hands to sanitise our homes and environment. Say NO to all forms of domestic violence [including Verbal Abuse o]! Have a Blessed week.”
– That said, what her younger brother did is totally wrong. The guy really went too far. No excuse!
