IDOMA VOICE gathered that the father and son whose identities could not be ascertained at the moment were killed during a recent attack on Binev in Buruku local government of Benue State by suspected Fulani Herdsmen.
However, an eyewitness said the incident was as a result of a reprisal attack by the Fulani following an earlier protest by the locals whose yam barns were allegedly ransacked and the both yam tubers and seeds were completely eaten by the Fulani’s cattle
