JAMB reduces form cost to 2,500 naira, extends validity to 3 years

The Senate today passed a determination decreasing the enlistment charge of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to N2,500 from N5,650 that was paid by planned college understudies this year. At the entire session today, the congresspersons prescribed the expansion of the legitimacy time of the UTME to three scholarly year. The determination was taken after the appropriation of the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund on the investigation into the new confirmation approach of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). They additionally made plans to correct the Act setting up JAMB to mirror the expansion of the legitimacy period which is right now a year.
