So Sad,A Nigerian footballer Eweje Oladele Micheal who plays for Remo Stars and formerly of Shooting Stars of Ibadan has lost his life after surgery.
News of his death was shared on social media by his former and present teammates.
According to Arowolo Jubril Bimbola, the media officer of Shooting Stars, the Remo Stars striker died after a nearly successful appendix operation.
Also confirming the news of his death is his teammate and defender at Remo Stars FC Salami Alphajamiu who announced the death of Michael on his Facebook page.He wrote…
“Sad news, so painful to announce of death of former Remo stars and shooting stars player Eweje Oladele Micheal, my broda 4rm anoda blood, we lose him yestday nite, we love you but Allha love you most,may Allha forgive him all his sins, “(sic) Alphajamiu wrote on his Facebook.
Eweje was a player of Shooting Stars in the early part of last season before moving to Remo Stars in the mid-season.
