Reps Speaker Appoints Ex-Osun Commissioner, Alimi As Aide

A former Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Osun State, Barrister Kolapo Alimi, is now a Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

A reliable source informed AMILOADED that Alimi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress was appointed by Gbajabiamila to assist him in his leadership duties in the lower chamber.

Meanwhile, top members of APC in Osun have felicitated with Alimi as many described his appointment as right peg in the right hole.

In his congratulatory message, the Senator representing Osun Central, Mr. Ajibola Basiru, expressed his confidence in Alimi’s ability to perform optimally in the latest duty.

Basiru said, “the case of Mr Kolapo Alimi is that of a patient dog who must proverbially eat the fattest bone, and his appointment also aligns with the Holy Scripture says that Allaah is always with the one who is patient on issues.”

“We served together as Commissioners under our Mentor and Minister of Interior,Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and I have always known Kolapo as intelligent and coolheaded person whose touch brings light on grey areas in any issue.”
