
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has revealed that an investigation is ongoing into the alleged torture of a secondary school student at Aliyu Mustafa Academy, Jimeta-Yola, by his teacher.
Adejobi disclosed this while warning the general public that brutality is a crime.
He added that brutality should not be confused as moderate correction or punishment, as they are not the same.
This was disclosed in a terse statement via his X handle on Saturday, February 22.
The statement reads: “Bullying is wicked, criminal.
“The Adamawa State Police command has commenced investigation into an alleged torture done to a secondary school pupil of Aliyu Mustafa Academy, Jimeta- Yola, by his teacher (name withheld).
“Brutality (bullying) is not the same as moderate correction or punishment.”
