Osun 2022: Voters, INEC Officials Disagree Over Ballot Box Placement

There was a disagreement between voters a the Irewole Local Government Area and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the ongoing Osun State governorship election.

According to PUNCH,It was learnt that the disagreement started over the placement of ballot box at polling unit 5, ward 8, Ikire, Irewole LGA of the state.

While the INEC officials wanted the ballot box placed under a shed, the voters preferred having the box positioned in an open place.

Security operatives on the ground tried to restore normalcy in a video surfaced online.
