The President of OSPOLY Alumni Association, Yakub Adebayo, has reiterated his commitment to develop the association, promise to deploy technology to improve its activities, AMILOADED reports.
Adebayo while addressing the members of the association at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, on Saturday, said the deployment of the technology will make things easier for the members.
He added that there will be synergy between the association and the school management with the objectives of getting things done more efficiently.
Adebayo said, “I’m highly elated to have participated in this election that brought the largest congregations of Alumni Members in the history of Alumni.
“Even though I was declared the winner by the Electoral College, but it is not a victory for me but for all Alumnus especially, Hon. Abidemi Ogunkanmi, Mr Muideen Makinde and all other contestants who couldn’t make it this time around.
“I solicit for your support all as we’re committed to rebuilding Alumni and take it to the next level.
My programs and manifesto shall be addressed adequately and fruitfully.
“My administration will foster unity among members of this association by Addressing the perennial crises that do engulf our dear association.
“I will deploy technology to improve on our day to day activities as this will make things easier for our dear members. There’ll be synergy between our Association and the School Management with the objectives of getting things done more efficiently than ever before.
“We shall promise synergy and Cooperation among members as we have plans to search vigorously for opportunities inwardly and bring on board our members who may be in need of those opportunities. This will make the association to grow faster and brew potential employers of labour and future business partners.
“Infrastructural development and adequate maintenance of the existing ones shall be our priority. We shall use our various positions and connections to influence meaningful projects and programs into this institution.
“Lastly, my administration will take Alumni to the next level.”
The president thanked the members of the association, adding, “I promise you all that I’ll perform very well and I’ll not betray your trust.”
