Kimpact Development Initiative Launches Osun Assembly E-Platform For Residents

The Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) has held a townhall meeting to unveil the Osun State House of Assembly e-platform to the citizens of the state, AMILOADED reports.

The meeting which took place in Ilesha, Osun State on Tuesday, was held in partnership with the Osun State House of Assembly.

According to the KDI Senior Programs Manager, Mr Oluwafemi John Adebayo, the legislative arm of government is no longer involving the people in governance as much a befitting, hence, the creation of the electronic platform though the website, www.hoa.os.gov.ng to aid legislator-citizen relationship and to further update their constituents of other constituents of other developments.

“The E-platform to be utilised in engaging the legisators, their details raise petitions that the legislative house will attend to, check out the process of law making, bill tracking in order to assimilate the laws of the land. It also facilitates insight into budgeting an budget process of the House by ciizens of the state,” Adebayo said.

The meeting had in attendance members of the press and some selected stakeholders across the state.
