How House Agent Used Client’s N500,000 Rent For Sports Betting (Video)

A Nigerian real estate agent has incited significant backlash after disclosing that he misappropriated N500,000 intended for a client’s housing rental to engage in gambling, ultimately losing the entire sum.

Despite this financial setback, he acknowledged his ongoing gambling activities and even showcased his most recent betting slip.

This shocking admission was made in a widely circulated TikTok video, where he shared his personal gambling saga.

He narrated how a client had entrusted him with N500,000 to secure an apartment, but rather than fulfilling this obligation, he immediately headed to a betting establishment.

“I do agent work. Somebody gave me ₦500K to rent an apartment. The money didn’t even last a day in my hands,” he confessed.

Detailing the rapid depletion of the funds, he continued: “On that very day, I placed the money in my bag and went to a betting shop. It was gone in no time.”

In a startling admission, he confessed that he has not ceased his gambling pursuits and had already placed another wager that very morning.

“Even this morning, I’ve booked again. I’ve already played a game today. See my ticket,” he stated while displaying his betting slip.

As the video gained traction online, numerous social media users inundated the comments section, voicing their outrage and disbelief regarding his behavior.
