The Atiku South West Assembly has congratulated the Osun State governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory at the gubernatorial election held on Saturday, AMILOADED reports.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by the Secretary of Atiku Abubakar Southwest Assembly, Abdulsalami Olaitan, on Sunday.
The statement read: “We heartily congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke, the man of the masses for his resounding victory against all odds and declaration as Governor-Elect of Osun State .
“This victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun state is so reassuring and a positive sign for a new and “one Nigeria”
“We congratulate the people of Osun state for turning out to vote and defend their votes.
“We wish to appreciate the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the security agencies for ensuring we have a peaceful election in Osun state.
“We rejoice with Senator Ademola Adeleke, we salute his courage and we look forward to his partnership in the presidential project of Alhaji Atiku Abubukar.”
