Osun Tribunal Judgement, ‘A Disgrace’ To Judicial Sector, Says Debo Odesola

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, Prince Debo Odesola, says the judgement of the State Election Petitions Tribunal declaring the immediate past governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of July 2022 governorship election is “ a total disgrace and unprofessional to the judicial sector”, AMILOADED reports.

Odesola said this in a statement signed on Saturday.

He said, The judgement delivered at osun tribunal in favour of APC and their candidate Gboyega Oyetola against PDP candidate His excellency Ademola Adeleke was a total disgrace and unprofessional to the judicial sector. At this new age, I was disappointed to have seen immaturity and lack of independence on the part of our judicial system.

“Our judicial system was so corrupt to the extent that they are been control by unscrupulous political element against the will of the people.

“Osun election that was free and fair in the history of Osun State through new electoral act was halted by a bribed justice. This will not stand test of time. I want to urge all our political leaders and people of Osun who decided to vote Senator Adeleke Jackson Nurudeen Ademola as their governor to rise on their foots to defend the mandate giving to Senator Ademola at the poll.

“Let’s remain calm and be prayerful to see APC and Oyetola disgrace at appeal court. God will fight for the party and the citizens of Osun State.”
