Isale Osun Indigene, Adeniyi Adebayo, Distributes Food items, Medication To Residents

An Indigenous son of Ilé Wẹsọ, Isalẹ Osun, Adeniyi Adebayo through Osogbo Community Development Initiative, on Friday, gave out food items and free medication to the people of the community, AMILOADED reports.

The program was mainly a free health and Ramadan package for people at IsalẹOsun and its environs.

The Isalẹ Osun Community Secretary, Mr Liasu Yekin Olasunkanmi, who spoke at the event, said there was no ulterior motive behind the gesture.

Olasunkanmi said, “the converner of the event is  not doing it as a political strategy but due to the fact that he thought it wise to remember and provide for his root during this Ramadan period.”

Also speaking at the event, Mr Liasu Yekin who gave advice on health, implored mothers not to take medication without proper diagnosis and to be wary of alcohol intake.

He said, “I also implore the government to help complete our Secretariat and Community Hall and to elevate our children here at Isalẹ Osun.”

The items given to the beneficiaries include rice, noodles, blood tonic, tablets, among others.

The beneficiaries thanked the convener, Prince Adeniyi Adebayo, and prayed that “Allah answer his prayers”.
