A socio-cultural group, Oranmiyan Worldwide, will on Saturday, May 8, 2021, hold its 5th annual Ramadan lecture.
The lecture has been slated to hold at Oranmiyan House, Gbongan/Ibadan Road, Osogbo, Osun State Capital.
According to a statement made available to AMILOADED on Tuesday, the theme of the lecture which is billed to take off by 11:00am is, ‘Towards A Better Nigerian State’.
The statement signed by Chairman of the programme’s planning committee, Alhaji Tirimisiyu Olayide, further stated that two prominent Islamic scholars, the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Salman; and Sheikh Yusuf Babatunde Ayeniromo popularly known as Oko Iya Eleko, would be the guest lecturers at the event.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include the Chief Imam of Osogboland, Sheikh Musa Animasaun; who is the spiritual father of the day while Oba Kadiri Adeoye, the Oluwo of Iwo-Oke would grace the event as Royal Father of the day.
Other are chairman of the occasion, Sen. Mudashir Hussein; while Sen. Adelere Oriolowo is expected as the Special Guest of Honour.
The group, therefore, enjoined all invited guests and those who would be attending the programme to put on their facemasks as COVID-19 protocols would be strictly observed at the event.
