Osun APC Reps Caucus Disowns Proposed 10th Anniversary, Says We Only Support Oyetola

A caucus of members of the  Osun State House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned the proposed 10th anniversary of the party’s reign for the celebration of the current administration.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the caucus, Hon. Femi Fakeye representing Boluwaduro, Ifedayo and Ila Federal Constituency and five other APC members from the State made available to AMILOADED.

The 10th Anniversary of Uninterrupted Progressive Government was said to have been organized and facilitated by the eight Osun APC National Assembly members.

“The Osun APC caucus in the House of Representatives hereby set the record straight that we are only in support of the 2nd Anniversary of the current Osun State Government under the leadership of our calm, amiable and effective Executive Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola,” the statement read.

Other members of the Osun APC caucus who signed the statement are Hon. Olubukola Oyewo (Osogbo/Olorunda/Orolu/Irepodun Federal Constituency), Hon. Taiwo Oluga (Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency), Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni (Ilesa West/Ilesa East/Atakumosa East/Atakumosa West Federal Constituency), Hon. Yinusa Akintola Amobi (Iwo/Ayedire/Ola Oluwa Federal Constituency), Hon. Rasheed Olalekan Afolabi (Ifelodun/Odo Otin/Boripe Federal Constituency).

The occurrence has set stage for the perceived ongoing rivalry between the former Governor of Osun and current Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his successor and former Chief of Staff, Oyetola about which programme should hold between the 10th Anniversary of the Aregbesola group or the 2nd Anniversary of the Oyetola administration.
