So Sad! OAU Graduate, Rasheed Adedeji Dies During NYSC Service

 

A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Rasheed Adedeji Abiola popularly known as Emeritus Ara is Dead.

AMILOADED gathered that the deceased who graduated from department of Religious Studies, OAU, died on Wednesday while during his National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) service in Jos.

It was gathered that the deceased died after a shot illness.

Unconfirmed reports claim that the deceased supposed to be brought home on Wednesday for proper treatment from the acclaimed ‘Appendix’ before he died.

In a statement jointly signed by the President of National Association for Students Of Religious Studies (NASSORS) OAU, Hon. Abdul Lateef Mustopha and the Public Relations Officer of the students’ association, Comrade Adesina Ayomide commiserated with the family of deceased.

According to the statement, “O death, where is thy sting?😢 NASSORSOAU Just lost one of his finest Alumni.

“Rasheed Adedeji Abiola a.k.a Emeritus Ara was a vibrant soul with a promising future. Who held the post of AGS FASA OAU, PRO Nassors OAU, Honourable FASA OAU.

“We are sober, we are really sad about his sudden departure, Emeritus Ara was a truly an extraordinary man and was admired by everyone who knew him.

“May time heal the sadness that your family feel with the loss of a rare gem like you

“We express my earnest commiseration to your siblings on your demise of a brother like you.

“NASSORSOAU will never forget your impact in the daily activities of NASSORS while you’re still a student

“From The Generality of NASSOROAU Students and alumnus We say Rest In Peace and may gentle Soul rest in peace.”

Also, in a statement jointly signed by the President of Faculty Of Arts Students’ Association (FASA OAU), Hamzat Oluwarotomi and the General Secretary, Oludare Tobiloba expressed sadness over his demise.

According to the statement, “It is with our deepest sorrow that we mourn and announce the death of a comrade, a brother and a leader, in person of Rasheed Adedeji Abiola, popularly known as Emeritus Ara. Who once served as the Public Relations Officer NASSORSOAU and Assistant General Secretary, FASAOAU.

“The news of his demise reached us this afternoon and it was recorded that he died after a short illness.It is on this note that we announce to the generality of Faculty Of Art Students that we will be paying our last respect by 9pm today so we urge the populace to do this with us as we trend a graphics for him. Thank you as you comply.”
