[BREAKING] So Sad! OAU Graduate, Rasheed Adedeji Buried Amidst Tears (Photos, Video)

 

A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Rasheed Adedeji Abiola popularly known as Emeritus Ara who was reportedly dead in Jos on Wednesday after a short illness has been buried on Saturday’s morning amidst weeping and wailing by family, friends and students.

The deceased who graduated from department of Religious Studies, OAU, was buried at the cemetery of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in the early hours of Saturday.

According to reports, the deceased should have been buried yesterday but due the heavy traffic that engulfed those carrying the corpse from Jos who arrived lately last night made the deceased to be buried early hours of Saturday.

It was gathered that after the burial, the candle light will take off immediately at Mayfair area in Ile Ife.

The President of National Association For Students Of Religious Studies (NASSORS OAU), Hon. Abdul Lateef Mustopha who spoke with our correspondent shortly after the burial described the death as ‘painful’

 

“Emirus Ara was our leader who was so very vibrant. He doesn’t like anyone cheating. He was so brave. The department of religious studies and OAU at large will miss him. So painful,” he said.
