Youth Empowerment: Oluwo Donates 2m to Arise And Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative

Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1 has donated a sum of 2 million naira to a group, Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative for empowerment of ypiths.

 

The fund would be distributed to 20 youth with 100 thousands naira each.

 

This was disclosed during the Employability and Entrepreneurship Summit in Iwo, a summit organised by Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative in partnership with Uniplan Integrated Services.

 

Oluwo who was the Keynote Speaker at the summit eulogized the Executive Director of Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative, Yusuff Ola-Gold, Mutalub for what he is doing in the area of youth advocacy and development.

 

The monarch spoke on the importance of entrepreneurship in the building of Nigeria economy and wealth creation.

 

He advised Iwo Youth and Nigeria at large to be more innovative in their approach and they must keep upgrading and updating themselves to meet the 21st century standard.

While delivering his welcome address, the Convener of the summit and the Executive Director of Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative, Yusuff Ola-Gold, Mutalub noted that the summit is the third in the series.

He noted that the organization has been bringing youth together since 2016 when the organization was registered to share with them ideas, value, and innovation that will be help in improving their standard of life.

 

Other speakers at the events included Mr Kunle Awotiku, CEO/MD of Uniplan Integrated Services, Dayo Nigeria, a Mandela Washington Fellow and the Executive Director of Matadors Leadership Institute.

Also in attendance is Mr Dauda Oladele, MD of IBBDs Consulting Nigeria Limited who spoke of how to access fund for start-up businesses, Mrs Jumoke Olowookere, Creative Director at Africa Creative Hub, Elder Charles Adeyemi, SSA to Osun Governor on Strategic Communication and Elder Charles Ajani, the Chairman of forum of O YES Mentors in Osun.
