Oluwo New Year Vibes Shifted To Jan 3 as Monarch Awards Indigenous Artistes, Others

The 2nd edition of Oluwo New Year Vibes earlier scheduled for Wednesday, 1st January, 2020 has been postponed to Friday 3rd January, 2020.

This annual event affords indigenous artistes to be honoured with award of excellence for their outstanding services to Iwoland.

His Imperial Majesty, the Oluwo of Iwoland will be in attendance to present the award.

There will also be question and answer sessions with prizes for respective winner.

“We hereby invite the general public to a special jolly session with the Oluwo of Iwoland.

“Among artists of Iwoland extraction to be awarded are: Alhaji Otolowo Baba Omo), Alhaji Abiodun Oropo, Iyabo Odunsanmi, (Iyabo Oko), Kehinde Lawal (EGIN), Jaiye Kuti, Alhaji Babatunde Atanda (FADAKA), Sasiliu Ayinde, Funmi Awelewa(MORILI), Quadri Oyebamiji (SISI QUADRI), Remi Badru, Olayinka Oladele, Olaniyan Toshin (GBABE), Olowoporoku Ayomide Emmanuel (MR NIGERIA), Akeeb Semiu (ESHO) and other promising artists from and interacting with Iwoland.

“Aside presentation of award, royal blessings and words of encouragement will be offered by Oluwo of Iwoland,” a statement from the palace of Oluwo reads.

The Iwo Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Alalade Adio will equally be awarded in recognition of his commitment to securing Iwo.
