Last week, Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola through the Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye led House of Assembly rolled out the list of his 35man cabinet which is made up of Commissioners and Special Advisers, aside the fact that one of the nominee is a biological son of the former Vice Chancellor of the Premier University and immediate past Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole, and the euphoria generated by his kidnap and eventual release, little was in the public space about the reserved Adedayo Adewole, who is a man of many valuable parts, whose personality serves as hope for his generation and our country, Nigeria. Dayo Adewole, a certified medical biochemist turned farmer born less than four decades ago, is the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of the 320acres Farm Integrated Limited located at Iroko village, Akinyele LG of Oyo State, Amiloaded News can authoritatively report.

His decision to venture into agriculture required additional practical training in livestock technology and advanced farm management which ignited his academic sojourn to Galilee International Management Institute, Israel with the sole objective of replicating their expansive agricultural revolution in Nigeria towards the commercial production of pig, cattle, fish and poultry farming.

Dayo also diversified into crop production, and his midas touch is profound in oil palm cultivation.

As a practising farmer himself, Dayo has transformed his farm into a model for all components of agricultural research, ranging from feed formulation to plant breeding, fabrication for modern farm equipment, consultancy & supervisory roles for young and emerging farmers, cattle cross breeding etc.

Amiloaded News also verified that his contribution to nation building as an employer of labour, successful entrepreneur and innovative farmer was acknowledged recently as he was actively involved as a member of conflict resolution process involving Gah Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN), Afenifere group and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector in tackling the problems and finding lasting solutions to the Herders – Farmers clashes/Banditry ravaging our country, Nigeria.

Adedayo, born by an educationist and thorough bred university administrator schooled both in Nigeria and United Kingdom, he attended the prestigious Kings International college between the year 1995 and 2001 before proceeding to University of Leeds, where he bagged a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in Medical Biochemistry.

He equally obtained another Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Virology from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom before crowning his academic pursuit with the attainment of Masters degree from the University of Nottingham with core specialization in Microbiology and Immunology before returning home to undergo his mandatory National Youth Service at the University of Ibadan Research Foundation as a Corp member in the year 2014.

He’s an Ijesa man from Ilesa North East LCDA of the state of Osun.

Dayo has written several articles & publication during his research, both as a microbiologist and farmer, of note he was part and parcel of the Federal Government national level strategy on farm policy development and implementation.

His outstanding cultural attributes and the socioeconomic turnaround he gave to Iroko village, he was appreciated with a chieftaincy title of Olu – Omo of Irokoland conferred on him by the Oniroko of Irokoland, Oba Olasunkanmi Abioye.
