Ex-APC Guber Aspirant, Adekunle, Denies Defection Rumour

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State who aspired to contest this year’s governorship election, Engr Mumini Olabamiji Adekunle has debunked the rumour that he had dumped the ruling party.

Adekunle made this known while meeting with coordinators and supporters of his campaign organization on Saturday.

He said,  “we are not going anywhere; we can’t destroy the house we moulded for any reason.”

The APC former aspirant then assured of his continous cooperation.

He also directed all his supporters to stay committed and believe that the course is still alive with high hope.

Adekunle also denied speculation that he has been working for the party’s candidate against his town saying ” I did not collect a dime from anyone. In fact, I never met him (Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola) personally during and after the struggle. I contested as citizen as it was allowed in a Constitution.”
