Vice Chancellor, Prof. ‘Labode Popoola congratulated the 10th Inaugural Lecturer, Prof. Oguntola Jelil Alamu, at the Inaugural Lecture, held at the University Auditorium, Main Campus today Wednesday, 21st December 2016.
Delivering of the 10th inaugural lecture series of the Osun State University at the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium of the Osun State University Main Campus Osogbo, the lecture which witness a huge attendance had the topic : “Sourcing Renewable Fuel For Diesel Engines” delivered by Prof. Oguntola Jelil Alamu.
The event started by 2:00pm with the arrival of guests and the entry of the Chancellor’s procession, the University Principal Officers, Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, and the aragbiji of iragbiji Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi Professors, Doctors, Students, and members of the public.
Prof. Oguntola Jelil Alamu is a professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Immediate Past Acting Vice Chancellor of Osun State University.
He is the very first LAUTECH graduate to become a professor and to head an institution, now making another feat as the first Alumnus to deliver an inaugural lecture in at Osun state University.
This great and young professional Engineer, Prof Oguntola Jelil Alamu deserves all the support. We shall surely celebrate him.
