It was an atmosphere of joy as people sang, danced; rejoicing about the revolution in the educational sector in Ibokun community and the State of Osun initiated by the present administration . The Ogboni of Ibokun land and the executive governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola led other dignitaries, including youth, women and people of ancient town of Ibokun on Tuesday, 14th June to witness the inauguration of the completed St. Michael’s R. C. M Government Middle School, Ibokun.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State while commissioning the school said the new improved “school” would be reproduced in other parts of the State.
Aregbesola appealed to parents to support the government in its efforts by preparing their wards for the new system and especially kit them with the new uniform, saying the gains are already tumbling in as the state is witnessing progressive improvement in the academic performances of our pupils.
